Info Post
Good Morning, sunshine! It's FINALLY FRIIIIIDAY!!

If you are a new follower to my little corner of the Internet, this post is one for YOU! Welcome! I hope you will grab your favorite cup of coffee and make yourself at home. Feel free to join the $300 Nordstrom Gift Card Giveaway I am currently hosting, (if that's your cup of tea). Today's post is just a little "get-to-know-the-blogger-behind-the-blog" post for all you lovely people who take the time to read each day. Feel free to visit this post to meet my Mr., our families, and sweet fur babies.

I'm Kalyn, the blogger behind the blog Love.Laughter.Happily Ever After. I journal all my OCD and ADHD rambling thoughts of faith, amateur photography, completing my degree, the joys of having a Pinterest obsession on a Dollar Tree budget, and a little here and there about being a new wife. I quite often butcher most jokes I try to tell and tend to live life to the fullest after asking Google for tutorials and reading wiki how-to articles. As mentioned in 10 things to know about me, you will find that I am a sucker for sarcasm and dry humor, which you may find a lot of through my posts. You may also very well find serious heart to heart posts, too. I simply document my life (and complete multiple grammatical errors putting commas in all the wrong places) for all to read on this here blog, even though that may be extremely weird for some people. I love my little corner of the Internet and adore the blogging community. I am honored you are here!

I thought I would go neutral on this fabulous Friday and share the whole "get-to-know-you-alphabet-game" and, yes, that is the official title. You may feel bored, you may be tempted to hit the little X at the top or you may find something that we have in common that you did not realize causing you to bond with me ever so deeply. I hope the later and would love to hear from you! Are you ready? Vamos!

A: Available or Married?

My husband and I recently celebrated 8 Months of Marriage in our little newlywed land.

B: Book?

I am currently reading The Power of a Praying Wife by Stormie Omartin and Jesus Calling by Sara Young. Of course there are many books I am reading for my classes but those are super boring (unless you want to know more about becoming a teacher).

C: Cake or Pie?

Girl please. Hands down, cake. Never would I ever pick pie over a slice of cake. #hipsdontlie

D: Drink of Choice?

Typically, coffee as soon as my feet hit the floor. Then, the rest of the day it's water nonstop. Each are my go-to drinks most often.

E: Essential Item?
Chap stick. I do not go anywhere without it! Almost like forgetting your watch or bra, I feel naked without my chap stick. My husband says that I am addicted, which very well may be true. I have one in every jacket pocket, purse, car cup holder, my backpack, lunch box.... It's pretty bad.

F: Favorite Color?
Pink maybe? My favorite color is not something that I have put much thought into.

G: Game to Play or Watch?
I really enjoy watching football with my husband during the fall. There is nothing better than the changing of seasons, football, spending time with friends, and good food. Our UA Tailgates are even better!

H: Hometown?
I am a new resident of the lovely Birmingham, also known as the Magic City. I moved to Birmingham in May/June of last year from Baton Rouge. While in BR I attended LSU for three years. Glory days, y'all. :)

I: Indulgence?
Confession: I indulge in my blog wayyy more than I should. BUT. I LOVE my readers, "meeting" them, receiving and responding to comments, and finding new blogs to follow! My little blog was started so that I could journal newlywed life and communicate with long distance family. These days it is not only a journal but also my creative outlet, ministry, fashion go-to, friendly encouragement, and so much more!

J: Job Title
I will be an Educator in the Fall of 2014. Yep, I am totally behind in college. I did things a bit backwards and got married before I graduated college. I also am a wife, sister, daughter, and friend which are all titles that consume large roles in my life. I actually recently taught my very first unit introductory lesson as a UAB transfer student. Did I say that I am a student? It's a job too. :)

K: Kids and Names?
Nope. No. No. NO! I am afraid to talk about this for fear of getting pregnant. I do not want to have children or think about children until later in life. You can read more on why HERE.

L: Life is Incomplete Without?
Tony Harper, The Mr.
Tony and I became Mr. and Mrs. in June 2012. He is a master jokester and  Giggle Box just waiting to happen! We became big kids over the summer and are doing life in the real world adult style. Often times you will find that I blog the nitty gritty confessions of being a new wife. With all my heart, I believe that marriage is a commitment, not a contract. My husband has a precious heart for life, love, and the Lord. Isn't he handsome? :)

M: Music Group?
I pretty much like any type of music except rap. My current fav is Phillip Phillips. His CD is on repeat in my car these days. I am obsessed with Hootie and the Blow Fish, Jack Johnson, Goo Goo Dolls, Dave Matthews, Better Than Ezra, and the likes. Country is the go to when riding with my husband. Now, if we are hanging out with my thirteen year old sister you can better bet I jam to Bieber and T-Swift.

N: Number of Siblings?
2. I have a little sister and half brother. Miss Mary Kathryn, the Diva, is a full blown teenager. Aaron is a preteen. They are pretty awesome.

O: Oranges or Apples?
Oranges and salt. I like to add a little orange with my salt. :)

P: Phobias/Fears?
Snakes, spiders, being far from my husband, bad weather

Q: Quote?
I honestly could never pick just one favorite quote. I posted a while back on my Favorite Quotes and included everything from sayings and Bible verses. Each has a way of speaking to me during different situations in life.

R: Reason To Smile?
Life is beautiful. Love is so rewarding. Faith in an eternal Father is encouraging. Our home is a happy home. My little friends are a joy to spend my days with. Although I teach them, I think they teach me more. Learning and teaching is my job and I love it. Call me a nerd, I know, it's probably weird I am obsessed with school. YOU there, reading my blog and sharing your heart with me makes me happy. I have my health unlike many others. I could go on and on listing reasons to smile. There truly is ALWAYS something to be thankful for and smile about even on the worst of days. :)

S: Season?
Fall, no doubt. I lovelovelove it to the max!

T: Tattoos?
Nope. I would have never been allowed back in my parent's home.

U: Unknown Fact About Me?
I am addicted to buying nail polish. My husband found my stash the other day and let's just say his comments were not all that pretty. I guess I should stop cutting out the Ulta coupons in the Sunday paper. Oops? I think it should be a consolation that I bought half my stash before we said "I do." Haha :)

V: Vegetable You Love?
Carrots with Ranch. Among others. I also love fruit, as you can tell in the photos below. Smoothie prep and a little veggie medley going down in my kitchen recently. #nomnom

W: Worst Habits?
Snacking all day instead of eating meals, waking up later than I should, driving too fast (which would not happen if I woke up on time), staying up late trying to accomplish everything for a week in 24 hours, biting the skin around my finger nails, painting my finger nails while driving (I am noticing that I have really bad driving habits!), my chap stick addiction, and I am sure there are many more.

X: X-Rays?
Does going to the dentist count? I have never broken a bone in my body!

Y: Yummy Food?
Ohmygah, there are so many out there. Praise Jesus I am not a picky eater! Right now I would fall flat on my face for some crawfish, corn, and sausage. You can bet your bottom dollar that I will be consuming all I can on Spring Break while visiting my Louisiana family.

Z: Zoo Favorites?
Penguins and Monkeys :)

I hope you enjoyed that little run down kindergarten lane, friends. Were you like me and said, "elemenop" once you got to the middle? :)

I would love LOVE love to "meet" you and visit your blog! Thanks for taking the time to read today! It makes my heart so very happy!

I know there has been A LOT going on in this corner of blogsphere this week. I am sorry if I have overwhelmed you all with the giveaway and link-ups. I know it has been quite overwhelming for me to stay up to speed. Take heart and know that I will be back next week sharing more of my heart with y'all. You may even get a few truthful letters. While I love posting on specific link up topics, co-hosting events, or advertising giveaways, I truly started this blog to journal all that I am learning through this new chapter of life and love.  I realize those heart to heart posts have become a bit scarce but within the next few weeks I can promise you will find more! I feel as though I need them even back in my life again. I am here to journal and remember all that is happening and not what is being given away or linked-up.  With that being said, happy Friday! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! I will be back bright and early Monday morning for Coffee and Conversation. I hope you will plan to join Lauren @ Simply Free and me!

As always, until then- happy blogging!

PS- Hey Girl Hey! You can check me out some more today over at Wifessionals for another  chance to see how Kaitlyn and I relate as bloggers and new wives :)
