First, I would love to invite you to visit my dear friend Samantha over at her blog, Designer In Teal. I am talking about all things Wedding Wednesday and have a few tips and tricks of the trade to share on the topic of Wedding Shower Etiquette.
Apple Dumplings. Let's talk about 'em.
When you get married your entire life changes in many wonderful ways. Your family grows with the addition of in-laws, the holidays become busier, you travel a little more a little bit farther over the weekends, your schedule is always jam packed, and there is always a slight chance of adopting new recipes. You may even gain a few pounds, as well.
Today I wanted to share with you all an Apple Dumpling Recipe that has been passed down through Tony's family. Recently we were home visiting his family over the weekend and his Daddy actually made this little dessert one night. Tony's grandparents passed down this recipe to his parents and his parents passed it down to us. You better believe that I have already made it a couple of times too! This recipe is one that I absolutely love because it is fairly cheap to find, quick and easy to make, and oh so delicious.
Ingredients:
- 2 Granny Smith Apples
- 1 Can Crescent Rolls
- Cinnamon
- 3/4 Brown Sugar
- 1 Cup Water
- 3/4 Cup Sugar

- Sprinkle the top with cinnamon

What are you waiting for? Get off this blog and get to the kitchen. Start cooking and enjoy!! If you like to push the buttons like me, add a little vanilla ice cream to your apple dumpling. :)
Have you heard about new Coffee and Conversations linkup starting Monday, March 4 that I will be hosting with Lauren over at Simply Free? You should check it out! :)
