Friday Favorites + GIVEAWAY

Happy Friday, everyone! I hope you all have had a wonderful Valentine's no matter your relationship status. I have wonderful news for you today! From the bottom of my heart...

First and foremost, because of your outrageous support I am launching my first giveaway today! I promised in THIS post that I would do a giveaway of a few of my favorite items once I reached 100 followers. Well, you all are so lovely that I reached not only 100 but 200 followers in the same day! It truly is amazing to see the numbers of readers grow over night. I love you each of. I adore meeting you, receiving your comment feedback, reading your blogs, and following along with your journeys although we live miles apart.

I am so thankful for the upcoming opportunity to shower one of you. To say thank you I would like to give one special reader some goods! While trying to decide what my favorite things where I knew I could offer many items that ladies out there would love. While the occasional giveaways are gift cards or jewelry, I wanted my first giveaway to be personal. My blog is truly from the heart, no matter how random or grammatically incorrect it may be. I thought there were only a few things that I always have a desire or need for depending upon the day or situation at hand. • Who does not love a great journal!? I have seen a lot of bloggers post photos of their quite time journals or grocery journals. I am adding one of those into the pile as well. I use a journal to get by in life in every single area of my day. From to- do lists, planning homework, cleaning, budgeting and bills, and the lists just goes on...

• Finally, this may sound terrible and you may think "yuck" but I LOVE snail mail. Yes, I am that kind of girl. I still send mail through the postal service to family and friends. I also send a thank you note for just about every event we attend or after we receive a gift no matter the size, reason, or cost amount. I have been taught that snail mail is tradition and if it is their thought that counts, as does mine. I hope you like the cards and will find someone who could use a note to brighten their day. :)

These items are certainly not deal breakers however, you can meet Marquis, have the opportunity to get your name out there with blog advertisement, and pick up a few little extras that may not always be on your priority list while out and about shopping. Honestly, my prayer for this giveaway is to shower one lucky reader because I am forever thankful to have each of you here supporting this platform the Lord has so graciously expanded. 1. Sunday evening strolls with my man are the best. We love to take study breaks and go enjoy the walking trails at a park nearby our home. 

2. Since I have been so busy with placements, class, and meetings the past three weeks I have not been cooking dinner. We have been living off of sandwiches and microwave items. Praise Jesus I got home on Wednesday before 8:00 pm! I took the opportunity to get reacquainted with my pots and pans. The kitchen truly is my happy place. :)

3. Our food processor died on me after the second use. I asked Tony to see if I was using it correctly. Next thing I know he is "doing surgery" in the dinning room. The entire food processor had been striped and taken apart wire by wire. Life with an engineer is always eventful. Come to find out, my our food processor was perfectly fine. I actually had blown the breaker in the kitchen and the outlet just was not working at the time. Oops! HA! 

4. Such a neat little spot near Birmingham. I have passed by it often and finally decided to stop and take some photos this past week. Such a lovely little area I thought I would share
