Info Post
Good morning beautiful readers! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Valentine's has come and gone all too fast. We are now transitioning into spring but I hope you remember to continue to spread the love no matter the season.

The first day of this month I posted on genuinely loving others no matter what may be going on in your life. I hope that you will or already have realized those who truly love you and those you truly love too. No matter what your age or relationship status currently is, go love on somebody a little extra even once this month is over. Whether is be encouragement, being a friend, or helping someone in dire need, lend that hand and heart to another. Most importantly, know that there is a Savior who loves you unconditionally.

Whether it is loving friends, loving family members, loving teachers, loving your school, loving your church, loving your passion, loving your job, loving your community, I would just like to encourage you to purely love. Love a little extra this every month and next month starting today. Although February is the month of love, everyone and everything always needs a little extra love no matter the season. If you are single, dating, married, or a child of the Lord, just love on someone. Spread the love! :)

We love because He first loved us. 1 John 4:19

I want to give the big man upstairs all the credit in the world for the man I get to share life and love with. I adore my husband, the journey we have established together, the life we share, and all we have learned in the past seven months of marriage. I am super excited to see what all the Lord has in store for us in the future. As a lovey dovey teen I never once imagined that I would marry the man that I did. Now, looking back I could not see myself marrying anyone else. I am so thankful the Lord always knows what is best for me and provides in His timing, not mine.

Our first Valentine's day was such a blessing. Picking out a card for "my husband" and receiving a card headed "to my wife" bring such joy! While waiting for our table at Olive Garden we started discussing how long it had truly been since we had spent a Valentine's together. Sadly, I was wrong in thinking it had been five years. It really has been almost seven years. How crazy! All the things you do for love. It truly is the little things that make all the difference.

Our First Valentine's day as a married couple was spent....

I started the celebration a little over a month in advance. I found all of these cute items on sale at Target and Walgreens. Since the beginning of January they have been laying out around out home for all to see.

This photo is full of little goodies that we received for our wedding. I have had them out since we moved into our apartment but thought they were fitting for Valentine's. The pillow set is something that I ordered from an Etsy shop. The picture frame was a gift that I received for graduation. Instead of putting a picture inside, I cut up a card that Tony gave me many years ago and have saved it. Now, it is in eye view in our home. Finally, the black and red wreath is something that my grandmother and I made last spring. I was actually making it as an "Alabama" wreath but I thought it turned out too fancy and instead am using it as my January/February wreath.

If you follow me on Instagram you may have already seen this photo. Tony and I received these cards during premarital counseling from a friend in Baton Rouge. There is a book for the husband and a book for the wife with specific quotable slips. Typically I put a card in his lunch box so that he finds it on his lunch break. It was my intention to give him a little "pick me up, see you soon" encouragement in case he may be having a tough day at the office. During Valentine's week I took out all the cards that I had not yet used and put them in many areas of our home for him to find. It is truly the little things that make marriage so beautiful.

I think by now most of you know that I LOVE Krispy Kreme. Heck, what am I talking about? I love everything that is not good for your health! Anyway, heart shaped Krispy Kremes are ten million times better than regular round donuts. Such a beautiful start to a loved filled day.

We had dinner at Olive Garden. Ever since I introduced Tony to Codi's Alfredo Chicken Recipe I cannot keep him away from Olive Garden. Each week we take one night to eat out and it pretty much always turns out to be an Olive Garden trip. It certainly is not a problem for me because I could literally eat my weight in bread sticks and salad. Oh, and give me a hand full of mints on the way out too. Those things are to.die.for.yummy. Do y'all know where I can buy those in bulk?

Then we ended up at the movie theater to see Safe Haven. I actually have not had time to read the book so I went in with a blank slate. Tony, of all people, actually liked it. He even liked it more than I did. I thought it was slow and awkward. I am sure that the book was ten times better so maybe when I have time I will try and read it. I am sure if you are a girl and you have or are reading the book, you have already seen the previews. I am going to do us all a favor and not include those here. Just grab your man or favorite girlfriend and go see it. While the story line was good, it certainly will not be a movie that we buy in the future. Buying the book? The possibility is much larger.

We might have ended the night with dessert at Cheesecake Factory. Tuxedo Chocolate is my all time favorite. My man knows how to do it. We are not big on gifts as you can tell. I do not need material possessions or flowers from my husband. I simply need to be in his presence in the same zip code. I am thankful both dreams came true for Valentine's 2013!

On a side note, when did we start looking so old? Life is really catching up with us fast.

I am so blessed to have been called to be a wife so young in life. I would not have had it any other way. I am forever thankful for all the time Tony and I spend together these days even if it is rushed and short on our busy days. No matter how crazy life seems, no matter where we end up each day-- Home is where my husband is. It is absolute pure joy to fall in love with him over and over again. Without a doubt, love and life get better with time. The Lord is faithful and love is forever and always.

Many waters cannot quench love, neither can floods drown it. Song of Solomon 8:6
