Info Post
As most of you know, I love LOVEWith all my heart, I believe that one of the most important single things you could ever do in this world is marry the right person,  in the right place, at the right time, by the right authority.

But, if I can be completely honest and raw, some days call for wife confessions.

Marriage is a commitment, not a contract.

After attempting to fall back into the groove of school by reviewing 6 syllabi, studying for week 1 worth of lectures, organizing notes, scheduling 80.EIGHTY.80 hours of observations/tutoring/student teaching, some days just call for getting in the kitchen and making disasters if you know what I mean.

But on those long days tired eyes can really be disturbing and things can quickly get out of hand when stumbling through recipes rushing to have dinner completed in time for Honey Boo Boo.

Some days call for learning life lessons in the kitchen even when you think you are starting to perfect the art of cooking.

Days like this teach you to not put a glass casserole dish on the wrong oven eye just for a minute because it will explode.

After the glass shattering clean up process, I gave up, threw dinner out, and we grabbed take out. Plus, I scored new two new rugs by accident because the glass melted into my old rug. This was probably the second positive stemming from a night full of explosions. The first positive was totally laughing my way through Honey Boo Boo.

Some days the Lord reminds me that I am not a perfect cook, yet a perfect klutz. Also, He reminds me at the most inopportune times that I must pay more attention and not multitask to the extreme.

I still have great strides to accomplish as a wife and Christian.

Some rainy January days call for lighting delicious smelling candles, wearing tropical over sized shirts that channel St. Lucian honeymoon memories, stretchy leggings for chubby bunny feelings, preppy flats, OPI Big Apple Red nails, delicate rhinestone jewels, and wavy beach hair just because you can.

Admittedly, chubby bunny days are always a little more encouraging after a relaxing morning being a total girl.

Thank you, Lord, for mega hair spray and Hot Tools curling irons for us straight haired girls.

I love you, Ulta.

Chore filled days call for throwing cleaning and everything else aside for the time being and begin decorating for Valentine's Day almost two months early. Who said there are rules? Be a rule breaking with me.

And why yes, this is our first Valentine's to experience married. I will make it a great big deal, as always.

This will also be our first Valentine's to celebrate together in the same state in FIVE! years.

I am a wee bit excited.

Some days call for starting a Valentine's decoration collection with precious bargain finds from Target and Walgreen's. Too bad I only spent twelve buckaroos between the two stores.

While emotional and physical love is displayed in a home often through language, affection and photos, some days call for continuing to make our house a home on a deeper level.

Now, there is lovelovelovelove everywhere.

Some days, I seriously do not have anything to wear.

Does this ever happen to you, ladies?

Do y'all know what I mean? You just get in this phase of attempting to complete an outfit and do not even realize that you pull out the entire closet to try on. Before you know it, a tornado has comes through and swiped the closet totally clean.

Literally, I pulled out and tried on my entire closet.

I found nothing but a mess to clean up. Plus, I was way too tired after all that trying on to even attempt putting it up that very moment.

It is so tough being a girl sometimes.

And once in a while, some tear filled, stress filled, anger filled, emotionally strong, not enough time in a day kind of days call for having chocolate chip cheese ball for dinner. BOOM.

And all God's children said? Amen.

It might be a clue that you need new glasses if you drive around a five mile radius for forty-five minutes looking for the eye doctor's office sign.

As time would tell, my prescription changed by two hops and a leap. Go figure I could not find the place.

Some days you just have to empty the bank and get you two extra new eyeballs. If you are lucky, you can get waves on the side like mine.

I dare you to copy me and join the four eyed world. We are more fun.

Some days make you really wonder if you are really cut out for this wife thing.

Those days your husband forgets an ENTIRE pack of gum in his pants makes you want to ring his neck.

There. I admitted it.

Marriage is not a contract. Marriage is a commitment. Should I repeat this again?

When Tony leaves that pack of gum in his pants HE has to figure out a way to get the entire pack of gum out of our brand new dryer AND out of our clothes. Although I love him, I will not always clean up his messes because he will never learn anything.

Yes, that would be a spatula he is using to scrap gum out of our dryer.

Praise the Lord for Google step by step tutorials. Obviously, he was not the first husband to make this mistake. Thankfully, we did not have to replace many items that were in this particular load of clothes.

Y'all. Some days it seriously snows in the south. On these days I have to learn how to be a big girl without my husband being around to help me out.

I will be totally and completely honest, it sucked not having him around. And I was cold.

All the hype on Alabama's Winter Wonderland can be found in this post. Plus, I attempted lots of artsy creative photography! Praise Jesus for Instagram and iPhones :)

Finally, on any given day, as a new wife you could quite possibly lose all your marbles and "accidentally" agree to purchase the wrong team jersey to appease your husband for the 2013 season. I swear I am still a Tiger at heart.

Ah, the things my husband pressures me into. Shall I dare say "Roll Tide" or "Road to 16"??

I am such a confused fan. At least it is Ingram, right? Go Saints!

Judge me. I dare you.

To be completely honest, on most days I do not know what I am doing as a wife. My motto has become "fake it till you make it" which works well until I have exhausted all Pinterest resources or blogger tips and tricks. Through each storm, each lesson, and each day, I am reminded to praise Jesus again and again because His mercies are new .every.single.morning.

Although we have only been married 6 months, I feel as though the Lord has taught me SO much. I can only imagine all He has left for me to learn. Even when I think I am getting the hang of this wife thing I am quickly reminded that I am not perfect. I still have a lot to learn. I must continue to rely on Him. I cannot do everything in one day no matter how late I stay up or how hard I try.

Being a new wife is pure joy and I am so thankful each morning I wake up that I get to share this life with my husband, my biggest fan, my lover, and my best friend. When we look back in 50 years, I pray the Lord will allow Tony and I to still be side by side. I look forward to the days of laughing at all we are learning right now even though some days are extremely tough. I love my man more than ever before even though each day something inside me makes me believe that I could not love him more. But then, the next day, I do. 'Tis so sweet.

I am thankful to be married to the man of my dreams. I am thankful for sweet friends that remind me to stay strong and keep the faith. I am thankful for the blog community I have joined that shows love, encouragement, compassion, and grace for all the new wives out here going through #thestruggle. I am thankful for rest and growth through the constant whirlwind of change on this roller coaster ride we call life. I am thankful for a relationship with a Lord that keeps me grounded. I am thankful for a Father who loves me tenderly and forgives the darkest of stains.

I am thankful the Lord chose to bless my life more than I ever expected when He called me to become a wife at 21. His plan is always so much bigger and better than my plan and for that I am thankful.

I am thankful to those of you who dedicate your time to read my blog. If you are a new reader, WELCOME!!! I am so thankful for you and I hope you will look around and stay awhile! Today's post is completely random and grammatically incorrect, as usual. Regardless, I hope you have enjoyed reading my little missteps from recent happenings in wife world.

Life is beautiful. Be sure to embrace it. I am afraid if I blink, I may miss something. For now I will just keep swimming, just keep swimming...

Also, starting today I am planning to no longer post on Sunday. I would like to redirect my respect for the Sabbath by keeping it holy, as it was designed. Somehow, I have ventured away from this commitment to the Lord. As part of the post I recently wrote on My Word for 2013, I am making this a resolution to change right here, right now.

See y'all Monday, ladies! Enjoy your weekend!

As always, until next time- Happy Blogging!
